Ice Skating Rinks

Due to Covid-19 regulations warming houses will be closed until further notice. The rinks are open and benches have been placed outside. Please practice social distancing while using ice rinks. 

Little Canada's Ice Rinks feature warming houses, on-site parking, and lighted pleasure and hockey rinks. The rinks are generally open from mid-December through the end of February, weather permitting. 

Rink Number 1 - Fire Barns Skating Rink

Location: 430 Little Canada Road East

  • Monday-Friday: 3:30 to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 9 p.m.

Rink Number 2 - Demont Rink

Location: 60 Demont East

  • Tuesday-Friday: 5 to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: Noon. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 9 p.m.

During school holidays, the rinks will also be open from noon to 9 p.m. However, the rinks will close at 5 p.m. on December 24 and 31, and will be closed all day on December 25. Warming houses will be open and adult supervised during these hours, weather permitting.

The facilities will be used frequently by the Little Canada Parks and Recreation Department for scheduled youth activities. Check schedules posted at rink offices or ask the supervisor on duty about these activities.
